When will my brand be live on Material Bank?
It typically takes 30 days or less from the date of signing for a Brand Partner to go live on materialbank.com. This is dependent on receiving all assets and inventory in a timely manner.
Who is my main point of contact at Material Bank?
Your brand will be assigned a Brand Services Coordinator. If you are unsure who your Brand Services Coordinator is, please contact us at brandservices@materialbank.com.
Where do I send inventory of my brand’s samples?
All samples should be sent to our Logistics Hub:

How can Material Bank help me promote my new collection?
Material Bank will help you launch your new collections to our highly engaged audience of industry professionals through exposure on the materialbank.com homepage, in email communication and on social media. This is a benefit of your partnership and is at no additional cost. If you would like to promote your new collection or collaborate on other initiatives, please contact your Brand Services Coordinator.
How can I promote our brand’s participation in Material Bank?
We encourage Brand Partners to promote their partnership with Material Bank and bring awareness that industry professionals can now get your samples faster and easier than ever before. Visit the Marketing Assets section with the Brand Partner Resources page for more information.
How do I get my sales reps in the Rep Directory?
Your Brand Services Coordinator will be able to assist you in adding your Reps to the Rep Directory. Simply send your full rep listing as an Excel file (preferred) or Word document, including contact and territory information for each of your reps. If you need a template, please go to the Onboarding & Key Documents section within the Brand Partner Resources page.
How do I update my brand page?
Contact your Brand Services Coordinator with any edits or updates and we will update accordingly.
How do I add new products and retire discontinued products?
To add new products, contact your Brand Services Coordinator. To retire discontinued products, provide your Brand Services Coordinator with a spreadsheet containing the SKU, name and color of the products that should be removed.
Can I place sample orders through Material Bank?
If approved by your executive team, Brand Partners and reps may place sample orders for only their brand’s products. You may not place orders for any other brand on the platform.
Can Material Bank host my 3D modeling files?
Yes, we can add any type of 3D modeling files to each of your product pages as downloads including BIM, Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, AXF, DWG, etc. We encourage Brand Partners to provide rendering files, as our Material Bank members often request these in their specification process. Please contact your Brand Services Coordinator for more information.
What is the best way to increase my brand’s exposure on Material Bank?
The best way to ensure that your products are discoverable on Material Bank is to provide your complete product offering and make sure that all products are in-stock at our logistics hub, as designers typically search by items available overnight. Additionally, providing all relevant attributes associated with each product will ensure that your brand and products are filterable and searchable. Please also notify our team of new and discontinued products immediately to keep your brand up to date. How do I view my inventory levels and forecasting?
Inventory levels can be easily managed in your WMS (Warehouse Management System) Client Portal. If you are unsure how to access the WMS Client Portal, contact your Brand Services Coordinator for an overview and/or download the “How to Guide” in the Onboarding & Key Documents section within the Brand Partner Resources page.
How do I access Material Bank’s Analytics?
Material Bank provides Brand Partners with valuable insights into their brand’s performance, including designer behaviors, market analytics, and trend insights. Once your products are live on the platform, this information is accessible in Brand Analytics, which can be found in the drop-down menu of your Material Bank profile when logged in.
How do I receive my project leads?
Project leads are sent daily via email to your brand designated contact as a CSV file every morning at approximately 4:00 am EST. We can also set your Brand up to receive your project leads as an XML file via our SFTP. If you would like to set up lead integration through our STFP, please contact your Brand Services Coordinator.
What is a “Sample Request for Fulfillment”?
A Sample Request for Fulfillment is a request to fulfill an order for a product that is no longer in stock at our Logistics Hub. You will receive the request via email in real-time with the designer’s shipping information and details of their order. Sample Request for Fulfillments should be fulfilled a soon as possible and within one to five business days.
How does Material Bank’s sample return process work?
Material Bank accepts returns for any sample that our designers have received from Material Bank or directly from one of our Brand Partners. If the product passes our high standards for quality assurance, it is placed back into inventory to be sampled. If the samples do not meet our standards, they are either reserved for our student program or recycled.
